Uh, thanks to whoever anonymous is.... I did need a reminder.

Okay, we have a new puppy named Lucy, and a Kitty named Cleopatra, Cleo for short.
We got Cleo at a hole-in-the-wall Pet Store for free, all we had to do was buy her kitty kit. She got her shots today, and in September she is going to get spayed and declawed. I am not really a cat person, my husband is. But so far, me and the cat are in good terms because she hasn't shit on my new carpet yet.
Lucy on the other hand, is a different story. She is 10 weeks old, and half boxer and half Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We got her at a animal shelter. She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters, and the night before I rescued her, her brothers and sisters were dog-napped. I drove 2 hours to pick her up, and she was ridden with fleas and hook worms. I took her to the vet this morning and got her dewormed and inoculated. She is in good health and such a beautiful dog. She has boxer coloring, but her nose is not as prominent as a boxers- it slopes down. If I could figure out how to upload pictures I would....
In other news, Girl 2 is trying to walk. Girl 1 thinks she is 2 going on 12. Such a smarty pants. Husband is almost done with school, and I just finished my term with 2 B's and an A. I'm a smarty pants too. :)

Thanks Anonymous.

Alright, Im not dead. We just finished moving into our house. All we need now is unpackers and we would be ok.
We live in a predominantly black neighborhood, which is not a big deal to me. I don't know if this is in neighborhoods everywhere, but these older black men come over almost daily to hustle their wares and try to convince Husband that they need to rake our lawn for us.
*Ahem*
We are able-bodied early 20 somethings. Why would I hire the help of a wrinkled and smelly old man? Husband was able to rake up 15 bags worth of leaves. And then we found out that lawn waste isn't picked up for another week.
Other then that, the house is coming around nicely. I trip over a box almost every other day, but I haven't exactly had a day off where I could un-pack.
Husband is taking the girls to his Mommy's house on Thursday so then I might be able to finish the last of the laundry. Husband's mommy is a little miffed that I put my foot down on Mother's Day this year. I am a mother too dammit and I deserve to spend the holiday the way I want to. I don't care if she has been a mother longer then me. It is my day too. She has had 29 Mother's Days. This is only my third. She will be alright. Besides, we sent her roses.
Let's see what else.. I am doing really well in school. My GPA is like, a 3.01. Husbands is 2.89 because he got a D in a class. Hehehe.

Alright, if you want me to update, I need reminders. Thanks!
